Community Leadership
Board Bank

The Community Leadership Board Bank (CLBB) is a partnership between Leadership Greater Hartford and United Way of the Capital Area and a program of the Nonprofit Resource & Training Center. The CLBB helps link local volunteers with board positions at nonprofit organizations in United Way's 40-town region.

For Agencies to post board positions

For prospective board members

The program recruits people who have taken United Way's Board Excellence training; are graduates of Leadership Greater Hartford and other local leadership programs; or are identified through other community organizations that possess the skills and expertise necessary for board membership of a nonprofit organization. The CLBB maintains a database of prospective board members and their skills and interests. Nonprofit agencies then use the database as a resource when searching for new board members.
