Year-round Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer for United Way of the Capital Area
Other Committees - United Way is currently seeking new volunteers
for committees, including Day of Caring. Committee members work with United Way staff to tackle specific projects throughout the year.

Resource Distribution-Funding decisions are
based on outcome evaluations of the program, in addition to financial and budget
review. Resource distribution committees make funding recommendations to the
Board of Directors in June. Funding commences in July and runs through the
following June. If you would like more
