The Constitution Society
The United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut’s leadership recognition program is called the Constitution Society. The Society recognizes donors who generously contribute at the leadership level with a gift of $1,000 or more annually through the United Way Community Campaign.
The Tocqueville Society
The Tocqueville Society is a national United Way of America recognition program for all leadership donors who make a gift of $10,000 or more annually through a United Way Community Campaign.

In the 2007 United Way Community Campaign, gifts from more than 5,700 United Way Community Campaign Society members totaled $14.9 million, or 54%, of all dollars raised!

Now, with our 2008 Campaign underway, we invite you to join with leadership donors in your workplace and within the United Way 40-town community to become a member of our leadership giving program.
Combined Household Gifts
When you combine your gift with that of your spouse or partner for a total annual gift of $1,000 or more, you both can be recognized as leadership donors. If you wish to be recognized as leadership donors for your combined gift of $1,000 or more, please be sure to indicate this on your pledge form.

Leadership Levels
You will be recognized for your generosity and commitment at the following levels:
  • Colleague
$1,000 to $2,499 annually
  • Framer
$2,500 to $4,999 annually
  • Founder
$5,000 to $9,999 annually
  • Tocqueville Society

Leadership Recognition

As a leadership donor, your name will be included in the Tocqueville Society and Constitution Society Roster of Members, which is published annually to thank our generous leadership donors.

Tocqueville donors are listed in the United Way of America registry, in addition to the roster published by United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut.
