Did you know that one hour of volunteer time is
worth $25.75 to nonprofits in Connecticut?* That
means that for Day of Caring XVI,
workplace volunteers gave more than $435,000 worth
of time to nonprofit organizations in central and
northeastern Connecticut.
And in 2008, Day of Caring XVII resulted in more
than 5,000 volunteers giving their time and talent
at more than 300 sites, for 155 nonprofit organizations in our 40-town area.
